Jake - The Lion King

Born in 1967, Jakè lives and works in Lyon. A graduate of the School of Applied Arts and close to urban culture, Jakè develops a colorful and abundant technique built around a lexicon of symbols with which he tells stories.

His work is cheerful, lively, generous, but through this falsely adolescent universe Jakè speaks, recounts his vision of the world and of society.

His working technique is complex and unique. Without drawing, his spontaneous line, never corrected, accumulates up to 5 planes that intertwine and blend in an astonishing harmony of 14 flat colors never mixed.

Today, Jakè is a well-known and recognized artist in France. His work, on canvas, walls, volumes, and all urban supports, takes on an international dimension.

King Lyon is an iconic scarf inspired not only by Jakè's artistic lexicon but also by his history and culture of "Gône". The artist tells the spectacular radiance and diversity of his beautiful city that every visitor feels as they walk through its streets.
