Born in 1963 in Lyon, Jean Boggio has had an atypical career in jewelry. His world is inspired by the tales and legends that peppered his childhood, a baroque style where each creation resembles a little nursery rhyme. This jeweler from Lyon, a goldsmith by training, was only 18 years old when he signed his first pieces for Lapidus.
By opening his workshop in 1984, he began to create monumental rings like small mysterious universes that gradually led him to become interested in decorative arts. Very quickly his childhood drawings, revised and corrected in adulthood, were noticed by the greatest such as Daum, Baccarat, Chopard or Havilland, Le Bourget.
Today he has returned to his first love: jewelry and its phantasmagorical universe. Palm trees, mymosas, cypresses, such is the imaginary jungle of Jean Boggio, interior jewelry artist and goldsmith.
