Versailles - Fountains of the Alley of the Marmousets

The Allée d'Eau or Allée des Marmousets located in the gardens of the Château de Versailles is the junction between the Bassin du Dragon and the Bain des Nymphes. The decoration of this alley is due to Charles Le Brun whose workshop provided the design of seven groups of children in lead which correspond to seven other identical ones placed symmetrically.
