Pablo Ruiz Picasso, has always been passionate about life and he devoted the most important part of his work to representing women – models, muses, friends. Each time a new woman appeared in his life, Picasso changed his style, that is to say his way of representing things. Jacqueline, in a bust here, is the one who would share his life until her death in 1973. Here, he made forms emerge not through drawing, but through painting itself. He paints with a quick stroke, ochre and brown on a black background.
